This
island-hopping artist has been painting in The Bahamas for 20 years and is known
for her romantic style and fearless use of colour. Astrid's themes of island
living, underwater whimsy, local fauna and mother-love give a unique insight
into her own perception of life in this sub-tropical "paradise" which
she calls home with her musician husband and talented daughter. Astrid holds a
BA in Studio Art from George Mason University. |
