Eustace
has been working with Sisal as an art form for many years, producing very
distinctive, uniquely Bahamian expressions. "Sisal" is a strong
fiber with a twine-like texture that comes from the Sisal Plant which grows well
in rocky Bahamian soil. It is made into a variety of products like yarn, rope,
cloth, rugs.... and Eustace's remarkable, multi-dimensional "Sisal
Sculptures." Some examples are shown below. |

Mr.
McPhee doesn't stop there. His large paintings (acrylic on wood) have reached an
international market and showcase his sophisticated talent and creative force in
